Marion Smith Workshop at The Scrapbooking Studio-Friday Night

This is the fantastic Layered Pocket Mini Album I made at Marion Smiths Friday night class at the Scrapbooking Studio.  Wow what a fantastic class and awesome teacher!!  We received tons of fun stuff!  Glimmer mists, distressing inks and pad, really cool Tattered Angels apron and gorgeous Prima scrapbooking embelishments!!  This was one class I am soooooo glad I did not miss out on.  My girl friend ToriLynn (newbie to scrapbooking) and I had so much fun working on this adorable mini album and having lots of girl fun!  With the traditional Amy Whitey's sundae's to top the night off!  Thanks to Amy and her gang for putting on a fun class for all of us scrapbooking fanatics and showing Marion how the Mid-western girls have fun!

Scrapfest 2010

Here we are at Scrapfest!

Oh my gosh what a journey!  We started out in plenty of time for our 6 hour trip to Bloomington MN to Mall of America.  However, we decided to stop off to "eat in" for dinner before we headed into the Mall of America to pick up our Scrapfest badge and T-Shirt and be all ready for Friday morning.  BAD IDEA!  Slow service got us way behind and we rolled into the Mall running to the sign up booth to find out that we were short just minutes.

Well off to the hotel to map out our journey for our first day at Scrapfest.  So excited we could hardly sleep!

However, we were up at 6AM and out the door in time to get there to stand in line for our badge to get started to stand in line AGAIN for our first round of make and takes.  All the make and takes were awesome this year!
